St. Xavier High School has been sponsored by a society called "St. Xavier Society of Modern Education" since 2004 at Damana, Bhubaneswar and engages young industrious members in rigorous academic programs and extracurricular activities that foster respect, honour and service to God's world. In 2007 it got blessings of Saint Francis Xavier through Prayer Tower (A unit of Jesus Call ) & thus onwards it started a group called Chennai Group or Group of Chennai.

Xavierian high school has a mandatory co-curricular programme that fully supports a child's learning process. The programme has five modules,each of which comprise of several activites for different age groups. All students at XHS pursue different activities under each of the modules, based on their interests.
